When I was a kid, school was very difficult for me because I was always staring out the window dreaming up stories. Even if I was able to focus for a while on math, soon I was turning the numbers into little cartoons. Teachers if you are reading this, thank you for the extra patience you showed me.
So for 10 years I gave up all artistic endeavors and tried to do something practical. It was the worst years of my life. Finally in 2015 I quit my job and did nothing but songs, stories and sketches for 6 months… that’s when I got a phone call that brought me to New Mexico, and I became a new man as an Art Teacher.
